1. The Name Of Shuri's AI

The voice behind Shuri's AI is Trevor Noah. In the movie, Shuri's AI is named Griot, which means a poet, musician, or storyteller who is often tasked with keeping the tradition alive in West African culture.

2. The Meaning Behind The Name That Tolokans Give Namor

Namor is given the name K'uk'ulkan by the Tolokans. In real life, K'uk'ulkan is the name of a Mesoamerican serpent deity who was worshiped by the Yucatec Mayans. It can be translated to "feathered serpent," and the wings Namor has on his ankles are a tribute to that meaning.

3. T'Challa's Spear And Shield In His Funeral

During T'Challa's funeral, you can spot a spear and a shield on the ground next to his coffin. These items are the same spear and shield which he used during the ceremonial battles in the first Black Panther movie.

4. Okoye And Aneka's New Suit

Fans of Marvel comics can realize that Okoye and Aneka's brand-new suits in the movie are a nod to the Midnight Angels. The Midnight Angels is a unit of the Dora Milaje which consist of Dora Milaje's best warriors and they wear similar blue suits similar to the ones we see in the movie.

5. Ramonda’s Speech At The UN

During her speech at the UN, Ramonda mentions an attack at a Wakandan outreach center. This is a reference to the ending of the previous Black Panther movie where T'Challa shares his hopes to build these outreach centers, starting in Oakland, where Killmonger grew up.

6. M'Baku’s First Appearance In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

M'Baku’s first appearance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has him chewing on a carrot, which is kinda funny. This is likely a reference to his line about being a vegetarian in the first Black Panther.

7. Riri Williams’s Comic Book Backstory

We find out that Riri Williams is currently attending MIT. This is a nod to her comic book backstory. However, this detail can also be a reference to the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home wherein MJ and Ned find out they're also going to attend MIT too.

8. Riri's First Flight In Her Ironheart Suit

Speaking of Riri, her first flight in her Ironheart suit is very similar to Tony Stark's first flight in his Iron Man. Just like him, she also learns the limitations of the suit when she tries to shoot down a drone and flies too high with not enough oxygen.

9. Hinting At The X-Men

When Namor explains his origins, he mentions the word "mutant." This, along with many hints the MCU has given us in recent projects, can be a hint that X-Men can be making an appearance soon.

10. Ayo’s Armor

In the movie when Okoye is no longer the leader of Dora Milaje, her gold armor is worn by Ayo for the rest of the movie. This symbolized that Ayo is now the general.

11. The Son Of T'Challa

During the scene where Ramonda goes to Haiti to ask for Nakia's help, one of the children who bring her to Nakia is actually Toussaint. He is the son of Nakia and T'Challa. Toussaint’s first appearance is in the mid-credits scene at the end of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

12. Who Is Bashenga?

Nakia mentions Bashenga in the scene where Shuri believes she is finally able to re-create the heart-shaped herb. Bashenga is the first king of Wakanda and the first Black Panther. The mountain that stores all the vibranium in Wakanda is also named Bashenga.

13. A Reference To Star Wars: A New Hope

Upon seeing Riri's red car, Okoye calls it a "hunk of junk," which can be a nod to Star Wars: A New Hope when Luke calls the Millennium Falcon a piece of junk as well. If you are a fan of both Star Wars and Marvel, you may have noticed that a lot of MCU Movies reference Star Wars so it’s no surprise if this detail is a reference too.

14. Surprise Cameo Of Ant-Man

In the CNN broadcast of Anderson Cooper, there is a banner going along the bottom of the screen talking about Scott Lang's new memoir and his book tour. The first scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania also mentions this book.

Another cool detail in the CNN broadcast is that during the report of Queen Ramonda's tragic death, there is a breaking news item on the screen that involves New Asgard, which is a reference to Thor: Love and Thunder.
