A significant number of today's most gifted performers have recently performed magnificent performances that have left us speechless. But most of the time, we fail to notice the hard work that they put in behind the scenes, with some of them even going so far as to come up with original lines and bring a degree of realism to films. These nine occasions in films were not written in the script, but because they were so successful, they were incorporated into the film's final cut.

Jack showing Kate how to "spit like a man" was the pivotal sequence that was cut from the film. The director encouraged unlimited improvisation from the cast. Thus, everything we see in this scene is entirely the work of the actors.

The Godfather's opening scene includes a cat, and it's one of the most unsettling in the entire film. Francis Coppola, the film's director, gave Marlon Brando the cat to hold without providing any background on how he came to be on set. The loud purring of the cat almost eliminated the scene, but it cut.

When Princess Leia tells Han Solo she loves him in Star Wars: Episode V — The Empire Strikes Back, Solo's initial response was, "I love you too." But Harrison Ford thought it would be funnier and more in character for him to say, "I know."

Daemon helps Viserys up onto the throne and replaces the fallen crown on his head in an emotional scene in episode 8 of The House of the Dragon. The director of the episode later explained that the crown's accidental fall was a happy accident, as it led to the episode's most moving scene.

Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey's characters do a crawl-toward-one-another dance in the 1987 film. Actors were shown simply warming up in this unscripted scene. But the scene was so well received by the director that he decided to keep it in the final cut.

Endgame gave us a look at Thor unlike any other in the MCU. Because of his newfound heft, the character quickly won over audiences. Chris Hemsworth said in an interview that they had planned to have him lose weight by the movie's midpoint, but that he fought to keep him at his original size right up until the end.
