9 Wicked Gorgeous Disney Princesses Will Absolutely Capture Your Heart

Jessica Wilson

When it comes to Disney, it's hard not to mention beautiful princesses. Many of us grew up watching these amazing ladies fight against evil and have happy life forever.
While some people may think Disney Princess culture has corrupted the minds of little girls, they’ve become a big part of pop culture. Because all of the princesses have good qualities that little girls can learn from. We learn to be kind to Cinderella, to trust our aspirations from Aurora, to look beyond appearances from Belle, to defend what we believe from Mulan, and more.
But what if these princesses were possessed by evil? That sounds like a really cool idea, right? So here are 9 Disney Princesses that have been reimagined as villains by artist Olena Minko. Let’s embrace the dark side!

#1 Princess Aurora

Did you know that the first time the movie "Sleeping Beauty" was released, it was not very successful? Apparently, that's why Disney didn't adapt the other princess fairy tale for a while after the movie. But as a Disney Princess, Aurora still becomes famous. And who would have thought Sleeping Beauty to be so stunning in black? And if Aurora was a villain, that would be a plot twist: Aurora traps the fairies and takes over the kingdom herself.

#2 Elsa

I think we missed out on some great stuff because Elsa would’ve been an interesting villain. She had originally planned to be the main villain in "Frozen". She had been terrified of her abilities but finally, she let go and accepted them. However, she went too far and froze her entire country. I could see this girl being both cranky and a little crazy. Considering she'd spent years being scared by herself, it wouldn't take her long to get to the bottom.

#3 Ariel

It’s an interesting idea and definitely would’ve added a few twists to the story. And Ariel as a monstrous mermaid is more of a truly fantastic image. (I don't know if the artist intended her to be evil, but she certainly looks strong.) Ariel could be the kind of mermaid that lures sailors to their deaths while singing sweetly to them.

#4 Belle

Since I was a kid, Belle has been my favorite Disney Princess. She is attractive, intelligent, and unafraid to speak her opinion, but when necessary, she can still be compassionate and gentle. It's difficult to think of our lovable resident bookworm being a bad guy, but I guess even cute Belle can be pushed to her limits.

#5 Anna

The two sisters in Frozen are truly opposites. While Elsa is calmer and reserved, Anna is cheerful and full of energy. But what if Anna was one of the evils? Honestly, it's hard to imagine Anna as a villain, mainly because she's a kind and positive person. But I was scared to see her being pushed to the limit. It would also be really cool if she had fire powers to offset Elsa’s ice ones. I can see her going crazy if she loses Elsa.

#6 Mulan

Out of all the Disney Princesses, Mulan is a true heroine. She’s faced down some scary guys to save her country. She is amazing! So, what if she becomes evil? She would be a scare and you do not want to make this powerful woman angry.

#7 Merida

This interpretation of the evil Merida is fascinating, mainly because it involves another rather interesting character: "Pitch from Rise of the Guardians". Considering Pitch as the Nightmare King and filled with darkness and fear, it wouldn't take him long to put Merida under his control or maybe Merida found him. However, Merida with black magic would be scary. This is the face of a lady who makes your worst nightmares come true.

#8 Rapunzel

Rapunzel is a true sweetheart but she's also quite tough. Don't be fooled by her sweet face, she will knock you down if she has to. What if Mother Gothel had turned her into a machine of destruction? It’s definitely possible because Rapunzel was isolated for 18 years. She could surely do more evil things with her crazy long hair. Let's rejoice that she has become such a beautiful young woman.

#9 Princess Jasmine

I think it would be interesting if Jasmine turned into some kind of evil genie. She might have been the one who wanted to turn into a strong genie. Anyone will be captivated by the alluring promise of that much power. Additionally, Jasmine as Jafar is a strange, but fascinating idea. That would make for a compelling story twist. I'm not sure how Aladdin would deal with the perverse Jasmine.
