10 Movie Goofs That Nobody Had Their Eyes On Apart From The Best Of Fans

Before being released to the public, films go through countless rounds of edits and pass through numerous hands. Yet, some blatant blunders are seen in almost every feature film. Even the most carefully planned productions can have slip-ups that slip through the cracks. 

For example, during filmmaking, sometimes, crew members get in the shot or in the camera’s way. Most of the time we couldn’t see it because it got cut in the editing room. However, in certain cases, little mistakes peek through much to our surprise.

#1. Ghost

The iconic romantic drama, Ghost, featuring the chemistry of Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, is one of the most memorable love stories of the ‘90s. However, the director got in camera and was seen thought mirror which the characters placed a statue in the apartment.

#2. Gone with the Wind

Some mistakes are spotted in the classic movie Gone with the Wind. Notice the scene when Rhett carries Melanie out of her room, he has no hat but in the next shot, his hat magically reappears. 

#3. 10 Things I Hate About You

The late ’90s teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You owes much of its success to the undeniable chemistry between Heath Ledger and Julia Stiles. Yet, it has some errors. In one scene, Larisa Oleynik’s character opens the third drawer of a piece of furniture. But, in the next shot, she holds the second one. 

#4. Notting Hill

Notting Hill, The iconic romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts, remains one of the most beloved movies of the late 20th century. However, it can’t escape the keen eyes of meticulous viewers. In the scene where William interviews Anna, we see two open brass plates on the door. Yet, in the next scene, they are replaced by a narrow, closed plate.

#5. Game of Thrones

In Game of Thrones, Melisandre, a Red Priestess of the Lord of Light, is known for her necklace which seemingly keeps her young and beautiful. However, in one scene, she removes the necklace and still appears young, leading to confusion among viewers.

#6. Pretty Woman

Viewers really enjoy watching the chemistry between Richard Gere and Julia Roberts in the ‘90s classic Pretty Woman. Despite its success, it is not without its flaws. In the breakfast scene at the hotel, Roberts’ character takes a croissant from the table. After seconds, it miraculously transforms into a pancake. 

#7. Titanic

Though Titanic won 11 Oscars and became one of the highest-grossing films in history after 25 years, it has some flaws and one of them is in the iconic scene where Rose is introduced in her youth. An attentive viewer realized that the mole is in a different position than it is for the rest of the movie.

#8. Love, Actually

The popular film Love, Actually is not immune to goofs. Viewers spotted a mistake in the scene where Mark (Andrew Lincoln) shows his wedding video to Juliet (Keira Knightley).

There is a mental rack in front of some canvases at the start of the scene. When Juliet set up the video at 53:10, the shelf disappears but reappears in the next shot. 

#9. The Notebook

The romantic drama, The Notebook, has a mistake. Noah dares Allie to lie down in the street, his head aligns with the sidewalk lines After Allie lies down, he’s in a different position.

#10. Pretty Little Liars

Some viewers spotted a mistake in the popular TV show Pretty Little Liars. It was that Aria holds her phone upside down when talking to her boyfriend. Despite its carefully planned productions, this mistake made it to the final cut.
