TikTok Users Are Furious About The Sickening Jeffrey Dahmer TikTok Challenge

The "Jeffrey Dahmer TikTok Challenge", in which users film their reactions to horrible crime scene photographs, is causing huge controversy online.

Dahmer is an infamous murderer. He killed and dismembered 17 young men and boys between 1978 and 1991. This case of him has seen a comeback in public culture following the release of a horror film starring Evan Peters as the infamous serial killer.

 

1. A new TikTok trend is leaving a bad influence on TikTok’s users

According to TikTok, the search term “Jeffrey Dahmer victim polaroids” has gained 531.2 million views.

The video platform popular among teens has taken steps to remove the more gruesome images. However, one user managed to post an edited clip with the title “Jeffrey Dahmer real polaroids” and captioned it as “EDITED REPOST!! [Because] TikTok took down the unedited one with 130k views.”  The video has gained over 4,000,000 views.
