#1. Lizzie McGuire

Lizzie Mcguire is the very first series premiering in 2001. The cast members are Hilary Duff, Lalaine and Adam Lamberg. Hilary was already a child star starring in 1998 Casper Meets Wendy. As soon as the series was on air, it received a huge viewer rating and became a ratings hit. It is about a high school girl named Lizzie Mcguire who’s rather introverted and clumsy, dreaming of being a pop star. The finale was created as a theatrical movie, The Lizzie McGuire Movie. It is the first movie based on a Disney Channel original series 2000s.

#2. That’s So Raven

It’s another globally recognized Disney Channel series. The series features Raven-Symoné, Orlando Brown and Anneliese van der Pol. Raven portrayed Raven Baxter, a high schooler having a special ability that gives her visions of the future. However, it does not function very well and leads to several hilarious incidents. A spin-off, Raven's Home, is about adultery Raven living with her twins. 

#3. Hannah Montana

Hannah Montana is a musical teen sitcom, centering on Miley Stewart. She has a double life, a normal teenage girl by day and a pop star by night. The series made its star, Miley Cyrus, a global teen idol & icon. Besides, her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso were also featured. The series had a huge impact on the worldwide scale with tours, a spinoff movie and various merches with Hannah Montana image. Its soundtracks are also spectacular with several hit songs and number-one albums.

#4. The Suite Life of Zack & Cody

This is one of the most long-running Disney Channel Original Shows 2000s with 87 episodes throughout the series. It focuses on the twins Zack & Cody Martin and their lives at The Tipton hotel in Boston. Dylan and Cole Sprouse portrayed Zack & Cody, respectively. It also starred Brenda Song, Ashley Tisdale, Phill Lewis and Kim Rhodes. It remains one of the most successful series on Disney Channel and has a spinoff series (The Suite Life On Deck) and a TV movie (The Suite Life Movie).

#5. Wizards Of Waverly Place

Following the success of the previous series, it was on air from 2007 as the next sitcom series on Disney Channel from the 2000s. The cast members consisted of Selena Gomez, David Henrie, Jake T. Austin, Maria Canals Barrera and David DeLuise. Their characters are all members of the Russo family, a wizard family. The series is one of the most successful Disney Channel old shows 2000s, continuing until 2012 with the series finale. It received several nominations and awards including a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Program in 2009. Selena Gomez has also become a popular pop singer/actress.

#6. Sonny With A Chance

Sonny With A Chance is a wrap for a decade of successful Disney Channel original series. It features Demi Lovato, Tiffany Thornton, Brandon Mychal Smith and Sterling Knight. Compared two its predecessors, it was not as successful and impactful. A sequel, So Random! premiered in 2011 and 2022 without Demi as she was handling personal issues.
