#1. His Notable Career

Boseman is one of the Black icons in Hollywood and pop culture. Why is Chadwick Boseman famous? It’s not only for his role in the Marvel movies but also biographical roles and his movie production. Before he got cast as T’Challa/Black Panther, Boseman had starred in many biographical films and series about Black historical figures. Those include baseball player Jackie Robinson in the 2013 movie 42, singer James Brown in 2014 movie Get on Up and  attorney Thurgood Marshall in 2017 film Marshall. He was able to pull off these well-known characters with respectful qualities of Black Americans. 
In 2016, Marvel introduced him as the first Black superhero in the MCU in Captain America: Civil War. This role received a lot of attention and praises, especially the favor of the Black community. For the very first time, the African continent is demonstrated with a different angle, consisting of lots of charm, mysteries and surprises. Also, it gained him international recognition. Following this, he starred in Black Panther (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). 
Despite the fact that he was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016, the actor never stopped contributing and pursuing his passion. He managed to complete his role in the MCU and several other movies such as 21 Bridges, Da 5 Bloods and his final movie Ma Rainey's Black Bottom. It was not easy for him at all since he had broken down several times in the filming sets and press conferences. However, hard work pays off, every time. He won an Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe Award for his very last role.

Why is Chadwick Boseman a hero? It’s definitely not because of his role but his legacy, acts and contribution. He was the leader for the recognition which black actors in Hollywood should be receiving. 
More than anyone, he faced the same stereotypes that Black people had to face, on and off screens. He was even fired for complaining about the racist stereotypes in the script of his feature movies and TV series. Eventually, he was one of the few Black actors who received critical acclaim for his performance. Black Panther star proved the incapability of Black actors. 
Fighting cancer himself, he spent time and devotion to many cancer foundations, supporting, encouraging patients especially his fans to keep thriving. Some of his actions were donating $10,000 to the Boys and Girls Club and helping Black children see the movie Black Panther. Adults and children all love him. 

#3. The World Will Always Miss Him

After his death, many activities dedicated to him have taken place. In his hometown, South Carolina, the Statehouse flags were lowered to half-staff on August 30, 2020. Disney also did a lot to pay tributes to his legacy. Anthony Hopkins, the winner of Best Actor at the 2021 Oscar gave his speech to memorialize the famous actor. There is also a message at the after-credits of video game Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, dedicating his legacy. He will forever be missed and loved. In the upcoming sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, there will also an amount of time to pay tributes to King T’Challa, the character he successfully portrayed.
