Previously, many outlets have confirmed that it will premiere next year, right at the end of the summer blockbuster season. Summer is usually the season for high-budgeted, dynamic movies. Archie Madekwe will star in this adaptation, as well as many successful actors. Madekwe has gained recognition for his role as Kofun in SEE and as Simon in Midsommar. Stranger Things’ David Harbour is also featured as a retired race car driver and also the tutor of Madekwa’s main character. It is an annual sports car and touring car automobile endurance race taking place at the Dubai Autodrome.

South African-Canadian director Neill Blomkamp will be in charge of the production of the film.
