This helped him become one of America's funniest men. He hosted a talk show and radio show and penned the book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man in 2009. He's worth $100 million because of his hard work and dedication.

He poured his talent into rap and joined N.W.A and World Class Wreckin' Cru. His first album 'The Chronic' was a huge hit. This transformed his career. Aftermath Entertainment signed Eminem. The 2014 sale of Beats Electronics to Apple made him the richest rapper ever. Apple's most costly and touted purchase to date. Dre is worth $3 billion.

The woman who created "Harry Potter" began her life in abject poverty and was on the verge of homelessness before becoming the first author in history to earn a billion dollars. An unpublished writer by the name of Joanne Rowland first began pondering the concept of a young man who enrolls at a school for wizards in the year 1990. At the time, she was waiting for a London-bound train running behind schedule.
