This anonymous street artist is best known for using graffiti to express his feelings about the social and political climate. Despite being often controversial, particularly due to the nature of his vandalism art, Banksy has sparked a cult following and his works have sold for millions of dollars. His documentary "Exit Through the Gift Shop" was the highlight of his career and was even nominated for an Oscar, but he was not allowed to enter the ceremony in a mask, as he had requested. He has stated publicly that he does not "agree with the concept of award ceremonies," and you can bet he feels even more strongly now that he has been rejected.

Disney Channel as CeCe Jones in the TV show "Shake It Up". She was most recently seen in the 2018 film "Midnight Sun." Despite her fame and numerous nominations, Thorne has spoken out on Twitter against the Teen Choice Awards and boycotted the show in 2018. She mentions the competition among young people, the categories that honor superficial traits, and the fact that the "whole thing is rigged anyway" as the main disqualifiers to the event.

There's no denying that he's one of the most successful artists of all time, according to Billboard. However, the Grammy winner has publicly criticized the Grammys' treatment of hip-hop artists, and he was so upset that he did not even submit his album "More Life" for consideration at the 2018 ceremony. He couldn't even keep from criticizing the show in his 2019 acceptance speech.

His most notable nominations went for films such as "Anatomy of a Murder," "The Hustler," and "The Hospital." Scott, however, won the coveted Best Actor award for his outstanding performance in "Patton." To the surprise of fans everywhere, Scott became the first actor to decline the award, calling the ceremony "demeaning" to actors and nothing more than a "two-hour meat parade."

When Marlon Brando was nominated for his performance as Vito Corleone in 1972's "The Godfather," widely regarded as his best, he declined because of the film industry's treatment of Native Americans. In his place, Brando sent Apache actress and activist Littlefeather, a move that has received both praise and criticism to this day.

Despite his success, Keith avoided the Country Music Awards for years, claiming that it was "not his bag." His reasoning that he had 24 nominations in three years with no wins convinced him that the show was "too political" and not "worth his time."
