It’s a non-issue for them to splurge on any items that are excessively priced, even not quite necessary. Over the years, we’ve seen them drop a lot of cash on multiple occasions, from luxury engagement rings to high-end wardrobes or gorgeous outfits – but that’s not the fun stuff.

With celebrities’ different preferences, it’s no surprise that many Hollywood stars own some extremely weird things. While some exude luxury and are elaborate in their design, others are so weird that we can’t imagine what these famous people were thinking when they invested in them.

In 1989, Kim Basinger spent 20 million dollars purchasing 1,751 acres of the 2,000-acre town. She wanted to turn the town’s farmland into a tourist attraction and film studio. In 1995, the town was auctioned off as part of Basinger’s bankruptcy.
