Redditor Accused Of Blackmailing After Moving Out And Leaving Boyfriend With Seven Puppies, But Internet Rallies Behind Her

Couples moving in together are all the rage nowadays. Being under a roof would help them understand each other better to prepare for a longer commitment such as marriage. Before taking such a big step, couples need to consider many problems. However, unexpected situations are inevitable, and many relationships become rocky instead of thriving after the couple lives together.

A Reddit user called u/seven_puppies turned to Reddit to reassure her decision to move out of her boyfriend’s place. She and her partner had been living together for over a year until the boyfriend made a terrible move. The man gave up his job last year due to exhaustion, and he stayed at home to finish his book. The poster supported him as much as possible by paying for the rent and all the living costs. Nevertheless, her boyfriend felt ashamed after struggling with writer’s block, so he planned to breed his female Pitbull to earn money by selling the puppies.

The poster strongly disagreed with the man’s idea. She insisted that no one would pay for his puppies while they could have many Pitbulls from animal shelters. Plus, she didn’t love dogs so much that she could endure those puppies. She could handle his dog only due to its calmness, but puppies would be a far cry from it. The boyfriend was convinced and promised to drop his idea.

A few weeks later, the boyfriend’s dog got pregnant. Though the man said he knew nothing about it, the Redditor was sure he had mated his dog with the neighbor's dog. She suggested aborting the dog, but her partner disapproved of that plan for the sake of his dog. Besides, he seemed excited at the prospect of having puppies so that he could make money from them. Nonetheless, the situation was not as bright as he imagined. Seven Pitbull babies were appalling, which drove the poster crazy.

Eventually, the woman determined to move out as she couldn’t stand the dogs and their mess any longer. Her partner thought she threatened him to give up his dogs, while the poster only wanted to be freed from the annoying pets. She knew he couldn’t afford the rent, but he still had his family and friends to rely on. Nonetheless, it would be challenging to find someone willing to shelter him and all his dogs.

In response to the post, netizens roasted the boyfriend for his short-sighted idea of breeding dogs. There wasn’t a shortage of dogs out there, not to mention taking care of all the puppies was out of the question for him. Therefore, he was a terrible guy for dog lovers by prioritizing his benefit over the dogs’ sake.

In contrast, the poster’s decision gained complete support from the public. They claimed that the boyfriend drove himself to the end of his rope, and he had to be responsible for his thoughtless action. The man unilaterally decided to breed his dog, so the Redditor shouldn’t feel guilty for not taking care of the animals as her boyfriend expected. Many believed the guy wanted to manipulate his partner because he hoped she to pay for all the living expenses. If he didn’t have malicious intentions, he should have found a new job or at least a part-time job to share the girlfriend’s financial burden.
