8 Actor Careers Wrecked By One D**n Role

The majority of actors have a very challenging road to stardom. Actors need to get experience working with lesser-known directors before the more well-known directors may consider inviting them to participate in their films. However, it does happen that after numerous successful films, an actor will take part in a movie that receives negative reviews, which will cause their reputation to suffer due to their involvement in the picture.

1. Demi Moore In "G.I. Jane"

The 1990 picture Ghost made Demi famous and earned her several cinema prizes and acting gigs. Striptease was negatively received by audiences and critics in 1996. Demi Moore's role as Erin Grant won the Golden Raspberry. Moore's role in G.I ended her acting career. This film earned her another worst-actress award. Demi says G.I. Jane is one of her favorites and underestimated. Demi remarked in an interview, "That kind of criticism made me lose a little passion and disheartened me." "People just don't want to see her," said a studio executive. We'd have to drag them to this movie."

2. Lindsay Lohan In "I Know Who Killed Me"

Lindsay Lohan was one of Hollywood's most sought-after young actresses in the 1990s and 2000s. "I Know Who Killed Me", a low-budget horror film from 2007, was terrible from script to acting. Lohan was being treated for addictions during filming, so she was often late or didn't show up at all, which hindered directors' motivation to deal with her. Oz, the movie's attractive athlete, won over the crowd. Chris Klein's second big job made him popular. He starred in Rollerball, a 1975 remake, a year after American Pie 2. Klein's career, which had only begun, disintegrated after the film's poor reception.

5. Jennifer Lopez In "Gigli"

Gigli was Ben Affleck's worst film, according to reviewers. Jennifer Lopez failed to rebuild her acting reputation. This movie was unpopular due to clichéd characters and ridiculous humor. Since then, Love Hewitt has only appeared in TV programs.

8. Neve Campbell — Wild Things

Neve Campbell is a scream queen. Scream made her famous. She played Sidney Prescott in all 4 Ghostface Movies. In 1998, she starred in the sexual movie Wild Things. Despite favorable reviews, the picture bombed at the box office, and Neve's image, which was completely different from her Scream character, no longer appealed to her followers. Campbell had no notable movie roles until 2016 besides the Ghostface killer sequels. She's now on House of Cards.
