But first, let's go to the Carroll County Humane Society in Tennessee, where Widget spent her infancy with her broods. Among the siblings, she was the tiniest, with her size as big as their half-size. The rescuers were afraid because they thought an ordinary owner wouldn't be able to nurture her decently as she was born with dwarfism (which was caused by genetic abnormalities, leading to stunted growth and unusual body proportions). Therefore, they had the idea of calling Michelle Roberts - an active volunteer with lots of knowledge and sixteen-yeared experience in taking care of felines with disabilities.

When Michelle first met the petite kitty, she knew they were destined to be together, even though the baby was looking at her with disfavor glancing. Michelle named her Widget. After many look-ups for information and finding suitable supplies, Michelle got used to the kitten duties, including her feed, special needs, and health observation. Now, Widget is 6.4 pounds (nearly 3 kilograms) and living her best life ever.

Michelle reveals that Widget is a pawfect blend of sweetness, boldness, and coolness, with a bit of gruffness and silliness. Never being conscious of how small she is, the furry pocket-sized beast loves to jump, hop, bounce, and pick up fights with her siblings. Plus, Widget roams in the house and sits and sleeps wherever whenever she fancies. She is so playful and lively that she even makes loud noises while learning to run up and down the staircases.
