Sign With Reasons For High Price In Dog Salon Makes Public Burst Into Laughter

Undoubtedly, being an animal lover is not enough to raise a pet. Apart from that, you need to spend a lot of time and money to maintain the animal's well-being. Monthly visits to a pet spa are likely to contribute a large part to the total amount of money you put on your fur babies.

Though everyone is aware of the high cost of pet grooming services, sometimes, they are still surprised since it is even more expensive than your haircut. Therefore, a groomer has put a sign in her salon to justify the supposedly unreasonable prices. The ten reasons she pointed out have the internet in stitches.

Her sign starts with an attractive title: "Top ten reasons why it costs more to get your pet groomed than your own hair cut”. Following the line above are clear and concise points numbered downward from ten to one. Numbers from six to ten show many tasks of a pet groomer other than trimming a pet’s hair:
“10. Your hairdresser doesn't wash and clean your rear end.
9. You don't go eight weeks without washing or brushing your hair.
8. Your hairdresser doesn't give you a sanitary trim.
7. Your hairdresser doesn't clean your ears.
6. Your hairdresser doesn't remove the boogies from your eyes.”

It is convincing that pet groomers deserve their earnings as they are in charge of many duties, varying from washing and cutting hair to hygienic care for nearly every part of the pet's body. In addition, grooming a pet without cleaning for a long time is not as easy as giving a haircut to a person who washes their hair almost every day.

Besides a large workload, a groomer has to deal with many unexpected struggles with the pets. Many animals do not sit still when a stranger tries to touch them, and sometimes they may attack the groomer. The top one on the list, which mentions a sensitive but frequent accident, makes the public burst out laughing:
"5. You sit still for your hairdresser.
4. Your haircut doesn't include a manicure or pedicure.
3. Your hairdresser only washes and cuts the hair on your head.
2. You don't bite or scratch your hairdresser.
1. The likelihood of you pooping on the hairdresser is pretty slim."

In response to the funny sign above, a user commented: "It says 'The likelihood of you pooping on your hairdresser is slim'. The use of the word slim is a bit concerning. You should probably never do this."
Another believed that pet groomers deserved high pay as they were doing a tough job: "I would pay anything to get my dog properly washed and groomed. I tried it myself and it is chaos."
A third person added: "Love this sign. I just took my pup for a doggy spa day to get all these services mentioned and it was totally worth it."
