Lately, a Reddit user with the account u/SlugBoy42 turned to the subreddit UnethicalLifeProTips for advice about his neighbor. The post with the caption “Request Neighbor dogs bark all night and neighbors never clean up the dog droppings” has gained 2,800 upvotes and nearly 600 comments.
The poster has been living in his house for over a year until now. During that time, he had to endure the neighbor’s dogs that barked every night. Moreover, the space next to his backyard where the dogs stayed was filthy and disgusting with dog droppings and foul smells as the owner seemed to never clean up that place. The Redditor had brought the problem to his neighbor thousands of times, but no result was seen.

The poster got stuck at a stalemate as he did not know how to handle this tricky problem. He knew that the animals were innocent, and it was the owner’s fault when not taking care of them probably. Therefore, he wanted to fix the dilemma without hurting the dogs. The Redditor had tried the anti-bark sound strategy, but it did not work.

Some others suggested the poster call for help from the police or animal control. In one user’s case, a threat to call the cops was enough to change a neighbor’s behavior.
