She sat down on it until the manager walked by to find out how much it was selling for. It was over the amount she had in her pocket so she sat on it until her sister came with the rest of the money. My daughter wanted to surprise me for Mother’s Day! When we went to pick in up the next day, the manager was so moved by my daughter’s gesture that it brought her to tears!
Update: I am so overwhelmed by the response and outpouring of love for my daughters, family, couch and my home! I appreciate it beyond words and thank you all so much for the amazing and kind comments and am working on reading every one of them! My great kids (I have two teenage sons also) and my husband sometimes think I’m a little crazy but they embrace my thrifted, vintage style and always tell me how “cool and unique” our home is. Everything I have in every room is thrifted and vintage. I’ve been collecting for years.
