Domestic1980. Her eighteen-year-old son had moved out and adopted a pup while applying for a full-time job. The young man worked most of his time so the mom offered to take care of the puppy. That was when she realized she had an allergy to animal fur.

Another opinion pointed out that the OP's son was inconsiderate. He might have been disappointed because his mom refused to continue nursing the dog. Either he was upset or he just loved his dog more than his mom, it still proved that he was still immature. On the contrary, some people thought the OP should be happy for her son being responsible for his pet. It wouldn't take her too much to lend him a hand because it could be hard for him to find a kennel on the weekend. Her allergy didn't seem to be fatal thus she should go to a physician to get stronger anti-allergic tablets.
