Exhausted Woman Asked Her Husband To Take Energetic Dog To His Work, He Did But Reproached Her

Some people can bring their pets to their work and feel happy. But this did not happen to this family when the wife and husband argued with each other about whether their dog should stay at home with the wife or follow the husband to his work. A woman came to Reddit, asking the AITA community their opinion about her story.
The woman lives with her husband and 2-year-old daughter. They have a heeler, which is an extremely energetic breed. Her husband’s work is close to their house, just a 5-minute walk, and he often has lunch at home before coming back to his afternoon working shift. Several times in the past, he let the dog follow him to work.

In those days, the woman was so tired because, at the same time, she had to do her shiftwork and take care of her sick daughter. At work, due to the labor shortage, she had to work constantly for 12 hours, reaching home at 3 am. After that, she continued to cater to her sick kid because she only wanted mommy, not daddy. Therefore, her husband did not help out much. After 3 days, she was almost exhausted because she could sleep just around 10 hours totally.

Her daughter felt better that day, so she thought she could take a good rest while her kid was sleeping. However, her husband returned home and got the dog going despite knowing their daughter was sleeping. The noisy dog, without surprise, did wake the kid up. The woman was so angry because the dog would not get quiet after 1 hour, so they couldn’t sleep as she wanted. Therefore, she asked her husband to take it to his work, leaving her and the kid a quiet space to sleep.
Her husband started to make excuses and refused to take the dog with him, saying that he had a lot of things to do that day and couldn't watch the dog. He finally brought the dog away but then kept texting to blame her for forcing him to bring the dog along while she could put the dog in the kennel.
After posting the problem, the user u/Apprehensive received sympathy from the Reddit community. Many comments assumed that the husband was not responsible. He should deal with his fault while he needs to share the burden with his wife.
