Mom Insists On Taking Nap On Couple's Bed, Won't Take 'No' As Answer, And Starts Marital Drama

Having a close family bond is a good thing, always. It not only creates a supportive, understanding environment in your home but also makes your home a real home, where everyone feels loved and welcomed. Still, even in a family, there are personal boundaries that other members should not cross. That's not creating distance, it's mutual respect. Don't mix up these two things.
Still, many people seem to not understand this. Reddit user throwra4t33 shared a rather frustrating experience when her MIL moved in to stay while her house was being renovated. Even though she and her husband prepared for MIL a guest room with all necessities, MIL seemed to be more interested in staying in the couple's room. That's weird, right? Still, after getting caught napping on the couple's bed a few times, MIL hinted that she really liked the feeling and that she wanted to nap in their room. Of course, OP said no, and that she had her room upstairs. But MIL insisted on what she had said.
Drama ensued after the OP and her husband did see eye to eye on this matter. Her husband said that she was overreacting and that she was making MIL feel uncomfortable. What do you think about this? Scroll down to check out the full story below.
