Netizens Rage Against Woman Throwing Her Husband’s Cat Out For The Sake Of Her Dog

On 5th September, a woman posted on Reddit the story of how she succeeded in persuading her spouse to abandon his cat because it couldn’t live in harmony with her dog. This post has angered the internet.
According to the poster, the couple started living together last year with her 3-year-old American Bull Terrier and her husband’s 18-year-old cat. Step by step, they attempted to help the pets become familiar with each other. At first, the two animals were separated, then they learned to get used to each other’s smells before seeing each other in the distance.

"They appeared to get along, but after a day, the cat began making its dislike for the dog VERY clear," the woman emphasized.
She explained that there were so many fights between the pets that they had to be separated from each other, and she would stop a fight by trying to splash water on the cat. After that, she took the cat to the vet and received the diagnosis “that he is perfectly healthy”. The woman also admitted that her pregnant state contributed partly to her worries about the cat’s aggressive disposition.

Continual rows and quarrels happened between her and her partner about this problem. As their family didn’t want to keep the cat, she came up with the idea of leaving it in a cat sanctuary with the hope that someone would adopt the cat and free it from euthanasia. Eventually, her husband grudgingly agreed to bring his cat to the sanctuary.
