Erez Zadok was born in 1980 in Netanya, Israel. After graduating from high school, he started to create and publish short comics, of which “Max” (מקס) and “Zoo-la” (Zoo-לה) were the most successful. They were printed in various youth magazines and received thousands of positive feedback from readers across the country. In 2014, he earned a degree in Visual Communications from the world-renowned Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem. At the same time, he completed his final project and published “Tranquilo” as its representative work. The book is about his military affairs in South America and was recognized as one of the five best Israeli comics. In 2015, Erez collaborated with Liat Rotner, his compatriot, and an author, to co-produce a well-liked teenage comic book named “Miko Bell: The Potions Boy”. Erez proclaimed himself a comic artist, a game creator, an illustrator, and a caricaturist on his online bookshop – EREZ ZADOK.

At first, this comic was mainly about the adorable relationship between him and his dog, Joya. Afterward, it has expanded with two new characters - his beloved wife, Lina, and their adorable baby girl, May, who have been his best motivation to produce the series weekly on his platforms. He shares all the happy moments as well as struggles of parenthood that many parents can relate to.
