Dmitri was born in Greece in March 2018. He was a gorgeous newborn male moggie. Unfortunately, he couldn't find himself a loving home. An animal rescuer found him lingering on a few pieces of left-over food on a small road's pavement. He was salvaged and moved to an animal shelter in London, England.

Unluckily, the poor kitten got seriously infected from one eye to another. The veterinarians had no choice but to remove both of his eyeballs. Dmitri refused to give up. He adapted to his new life without lights by exploring the other senses. He sniffed around more often and always pricked his ears to navigate.

And then that day finally came when Dmitri met his fortune owner, Emma. She had been looking for a pet with disabilities to adopt because she knew how extremely hard for these poor
animals to find a suitable home. Emma fell in love with Dmitri the first time they met and decided to take him home immediately.

Life had changed for both of them, the air filled up with affection. They had spent the time together playing and petting. Emma shared she hadn't had to adjust her house and furniture too much. Dmitri appeared to be bright and agile. He was easily fed, and he could move around slowly as well as do his toilet duty by himself. Even though Emma didn't let him go outside because of his lack of eyesight, she occasionally took him to visit her family and allowed him to frolic in their enclosed garden.
