Menopause seems to be a taboo topic and is rarely discussed openly. Many people think it looks to be a “dirty” word or something to be ashamed of rather than a part of the aging process for women. It doesn’t occur at the same point in each woman’s life but every woman will go through it. Women who are unwilling to bring the topic into the public arena want to remove it from their own bodies.

However, that’s changing as a number of female celebrities open up about their personal experiences. Celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Cynthia Nixon, and Oprah Winfrey have changed many women’s minds and encouraged them to do the same.
