Kissing Pet Cat Passionately, Lady Was Addressed Unhygienic And Disgusting By Her Self-Diagnosed Autism Roommate

It is such a headache for a pet owner living with a say-no-to-animal person. Today we're going to come across another awkward situation of two best friends sharing an apartment fighting at each other over a pet cat while being fond of it both. A Reddit account u/cherrimushroom posted her story on the topic AITA r/AmItheA**hole for feeling guilty after arguing with her roommate also best friend about her moggie and calling him a gaslighter. Why were they, bosom buddies, declaring a war? Let's read the story from start to finish!
It began when two close Australian friends, a boy with a girl, moved in together. One day he believed that he had autism, which hadn't been certain because he couldn't afford the doctor's fee. He found everything surrounding him dirty and full of scary germs. The roommate girl agreed to put up with his new living-accommodating rules so that the disorder wouldn't break their friendship.

It was acceptable until he saw her kissing her pet cat so lovingly that he couldn't help describing it as disgusting and nauseous. He wanted her to stay far away from the cat, or at least she had better not let her saliva spread on its head because he couldn't pet her cat while that scene was all over his mind. Not wishing to step back from that unreasonable demand, she didn't change her way of playing with her furry pal. Two young buddies ended up quarreling and hurting each other.

People commented below the post didn't find the OP jerky but her silly roommate. She might have felt wrong to call him a gaslighter yet to speak the truth, he really was one. People assumed that he didn't try to be fair and rational but attempted to control others by drawing his unsure mental condition.

Reddit offered that either the OP kicked her friend out or he should raise a pet himself in case he hoped to be accompanied by an animal. If he continued to be overly dramatic and deluding, their attachment couldn't remain for long and it wouldn't be the OP's fault.

Reddit didn't find the problem to have anything with being autistic. Besides, the OP hadn't shown any uncooperative attitude or malicious behavior towards autism. She had always been lending a helping hand. She just simply obviously had a few boundaries, which should be respected.

Reddit on the other hand pondered how cute the cat was that could make two best buddies yell and cry for it. When they received the cat tax, they immediately knew why. Maybe the moggie was so adorable that they only wished to keep it for themselves.
