When his son turned nine, he got him a four-year-old female Pit pup as a gift. His wife and he had found the dog at the shelter with her name written Sadie - the same name as his twelve-year-old daughter. The little girl was so upset that she desperately tried her best to make them alter the dog's title. No matter what she said, her little brother didn't change his mind.

The kids' mom had not taken the name seriously at first, but then she didn't see it inoffensive as it had been. Nevertheless, the OP wanted to grant his son's wish to keep the dog's name. No need to explain more how disappointed the little girl was she neither wanted to see any family member's face nor talked to them until she got her idea concurred.

Reddit did not agree with him at all. They pointed out the OP was truly a jerk dad. They were pondering why he couldn't foresee his daughter's upcoming troubles if they kept on calling the dog the same name as hers. It was effortless to realize the son was just playing a nasty trick on his older sister.

Reddit found the little boy's reason quite pointless. People nowadays enclosed their standards to the other ones and even to animals. Pets could be renamed at ease. Lots of comments shared how they had successfully relabeled their cute minions.

We know who we are, so we don't need names." The name has a different meaning for each living creature. Please write down your comment to let us know what you think of this topic!
