Members of the 'Trashy' subreddit submitted photos of the most outrageous and distasteful things they've ever seen at a wedding to show that some love celebrations are everything but fairy tales.
Since 2012, the online group 'Trashy' has grown to over 2.8 million members. At any given time, a few thousand users are scrolling around the page, looking for some juicy photographs to appear at the top. The moderators noted that this is a humor subreddit where bullying and destructive conduct are not tolerated. They also don't allow intense debates about social and political issues, noting that arguing in a setting where people laugh at intoxicated people making public fools of themselves won't alter the world.
The moderators claim that this is the ideal area for people to mock "trashy stories, trashy glamour, all things phony, plastic, and simply trashy, low-class, no-class, white trash, bimbos, proud."
