“Even somebody sure I’m deserving of all this hate and vitriol, even if you think that I’m lying, you still couldn’t tell me — look me in the eye and tell me — that you think on social media there’s been a fair representation," she said to Savannah Guthrie.

She also told Savannah that Johnny Depp had strong support from social media. So she doesn’t blame the jury for the decision they made in the trial. She believes that Depp does have a stronger public profile thanks to his numerous iconic movies such as What's Eating Gilbert Grape(1993), Donnie Brasco (1997), and Pirates of the Caribbean series (2003, 2006, 2007, 2011, 2017).
"He's a beloved character and people feel they know him," she reasoned. "He's a fantastic actor."

She spoke out about being judged in the court of public criticism, “I don’t care what one thinks about me or what judgments you want to make about what happened in the privacy of my own home, in my marriage, behind closed doors.”

She added, “I don’t presume the average person should know these things. And so I don’t take it personally.”

In the last statement, Heard shared her opinion following Depp's win. The actress felt upset as all of her evidence was not enough to win the trial. She used the term "the disproportionate power, influence, and sway" to describe her ex-husband winning. And, she also considered this verdict a setback for women all around the world. In the end, she underlined that woman’s rights need to be taken seriously.
