22 Times People Spotted Faces On Inanimate Objects, As Shared In This Online Group

Have you ever wondered why we can spot faces in everyday objects? Well, imagination is closely related to our memory. As we live in a society, we have developed the ability to remember and recognize faces. And, we not only do that when we see people. When we walk by something which resembles a human face, our brain immediately scans to analyze it.
Even more interesting, instead of dismissing the false, our brain even proceeds to analyze the possible expressions of that 'face.' "Facial pareidolia" is the name of this phenomenon. Humans tend to see meaningful images in a random or ambiguous visual pattern. And this is not limited to human faces only. People can also see the shapes of animals, objects, and even fictional characters out of randomness.

In reality, people enjoy spotting faces in random things. We see the shape of dogs and cats in the clouds. Other times, it's the face of an owl on a tree trunk. Our imagination is just incredible. It's like a whole new world exists within this reality but has no laws or limits. With the power of our imagination, inanimate objects appear so lively they even seem to have emotions. This 'face finding' activity would be perfect for a lazy weekend. That's an idea.
