OP (a 14-year-old girl) shares that she has a blind cat who absolutely doesn't enjoy being picked up without warning. However, her sister likes the cat so much and whenever she picks him up, he meows panicky but doesn't do anything.
OP knows how her feline feels. She has asked for adult's help, but the sister just doesn't want to listen. Therefore, she decides to take the matter into her own hands. She starts hugging her sister every time she grabs her cat.  Apparently, being attacked from the back is uncomfortable, and the sister dislikes it.

In the end, OP gets told off by her mom and dad for her behavior, but she doesn't believe she is on the wrong side in this case. And the whole Reddit seems to agree with her.
