Woman Tries Not To Move In With Husband's Family To Stop Him From Keeping High-Priced Dog, Otherwise She And Her Kids Will Be Homeless
As we are all grown up, we need to take responsibility for our decisions, especially those related to our family. Well, it's good to purchase one (or several) pets and have them as your good companions, but trying to own a pet while making your family homeless at the same time is another story. User @Heather_Strout has recently turned to Reddit to share her thoughtless husband who almost made her and her kids lose their home because of his unhealthy passion for dogs. Her post attracted 1,3K upvotes and nearly 200 comments from netizens.
As OP wrote in her post, she and her husband agreed not to buy dogs anymore as they wanted to save money to buy a new home before their lease for the current house expired. Therefore, when her husband showed up with a high-priced dog he got from his friend, she felt unhappy about it. She didn't figure out where to keep the dog after their lease was up the next month.
OP tried to persuade her husband to rehome his dog, but he outright refused. Instead, he suggested moving in with his sister so he could still keep the dog. Of course, OP didn't agree because the sister's house wasn't a safe environment for her babies.
