In the film industry, there are thousands of iconic scenes that come from many prominent movies. The memorable scenes take actors’ and actresses’ acting careers to new heights. We pay a tribute to the movie stars and scenes that have made an indelible imprint on our memories. We might not imagine that their iconic roles could be redone by others, even if they are at the same age. It would be intriguing if the actors could back in time and recreate their most memorable parts.

“Back to the Future” was one of the most famous movies of the 1980s, receiving numerous awards and nominations.  Michael J. Fox, the 24-year-old actor, and Christopher Lloyd, the 47-year-old actor were the starring men. Fox has acted to this day, with the most recent movie Lil Nas X: The Origins of “Holiday”. Lloyd appeared in Queen Bees in 2021.

Pulp Fiction (1994) is a classic in film history. It helped John Travolta and Samuel L Jackson receive a lot of attention at the time. Now, Travolta is in the commercial while Jackson is in the pre-production for Futha Mucka.

#3 Tom Hanks: Forrest Gump

Hanks followed Philadelphia with the 1994 hit Forrest Gump which grossed a worldwide total of over $600 million at the box office. Forrest Gump was the second highest-grossing film of 1994 in the US. At the age of 38, Tom Hanks starred in the film and received an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

#4 Bruce Willis and Haley Joel Osment: The Sixth Sense

The film Sixth Sense starred the 44-year-old actor, Bruce Willis and his 11-year-old co-star, Haley Joel Osment. The movies brought them fame. Willis’s last movie appearance was in Cosmic Sin while Osment is currently in post-production for Not an Artist.

After the success of Titanic 1998, two protagonists, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet achieved worldwide fame. They also won a lot of awards. In 2021, DiCaprio was part of the cast of the film, Don’t Look Up, while Winslet was the star of the mini-series, Mare of Easttown.

When the famous film “Home Alone” was first released, the actor Macaulay Culkin was 10 years old. For his performances as Kevin, he received a nomination for Best Comedy Actor. Now, he is one of the main characters in the television series, American Horror Story.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint were the lead actors in all the Harry Potter films when being 12, 11, and 13 years old respectively. The movie earned them notoriety and a lot of awards. Today, Radcliffe is currently filming a new movie, called the Lost City of D; Watson recently appeared in Little Women (2019); and Grint acted in the second season of the TV series, Servant (2021).

With his performance in the “Edward Scissorhands”, Johnny Depp gained worldwide recognition at the age of 27. The movie received positive reviews from film experts. Currently, he is working on a new animated mini-series Puffins.

Pretty Woman, a box-office hit, helped two actors Richard Gere and Julia Roberts gain international acclaim. Especially Robert, helped her win the second golden Globe at the age of 24. while Gere continues his acting career in the TV series MotherFatherSon from 2019, Roberts is in pre-production for a new TV series, Gaslit.

Sam Neill and Laura Dern starred in Jurassic Park in 1993 and for the following four years, it held the record for the highest-grossing film in cinema history. Two of them gained worldwide recognition. In 2021, Dern voiced Sue Murphy in the series F is for Family and now, Same Neill is in the production of The Portable Door.

Kirsten Dunst was a lead actress in the Jumanji when being 13 years old. It was considered a classic movie of the mid’90, achieving the young actress’s popularity and recognition. In 2021, she was a part of the cast for The Power of the Dog.

The first film of the Matrix trilogy was released in 1999. Several video games and comics based on the film have been produced as a result of the overwhelmingly positive response. Keanu Reeves gained a huge number of fans for his role, Neo. Reeves' last on-screen appearance was in 2020's Bill & Ted Saving the Universe.

Top Gun was one of the highest-grossing films of the ’80s and it brought Tom Cruise fame at the age of 34. After more than 25 years, the second part of this production called Top Gun: Maverick will be released at the end of this year, keeping Cruise as the main character.

When being 6 years old, actress Drew Barrymore caught the attention of viewers with her role in the main cast of the movie, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982). The movie was also the highest-grossing film worldwide until Jurassic Park was released in 1993. In 2020 and 2021, the actress worked on her TV show, The Drew Barrymore Show.
