10 Star Couples Whose Relationships Grew Into Something Bigger After Working Together

Love can be found anywhere! In high school, college, at a bar, on dating apps. But if you are an actor, you might fall in love while shooting for a film or TV show. Meeting at work is a pretty common way to find a significant other, and that goes for celebrities, too. Many of the most beloved celebrity couples first crossed paths when they worked on the same movie or TV show. If you've ever shipped an on-screen couple, then you probably know the feeling of satisfaction that comes with watching your favorite characters dating in real life. However, these cute pairs don’t always have a happy ending. While some of these couples are still together, others have parted ways.
Interestingly, the relationships of celebrities who work together are not always about love. During the progress of filming, they may find not only their true love but also their best friends. #1 Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter

After a couple of years of working together on the series "Dexter," they started to date and got married in 2008. They managed to keep a warm, friendly relationship after their breakup in 2010.

#2 Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber

Although they had known each other before, the actors became a pair while shooting "The Painted Veil." A couple of years after completing filming, they had their first baby, then a second one. Sadly, they decided to break up and still raise their kids together.

The actors played spouses on screen. Because they often flirted while off-set, there were rumors about their romantic relationships lasting a long time. However, Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac are both married and are good friends in real life.

The actors first met in 2010 on the set of "The Lovers." At first, they didn't pay attention to each other. But when they met each other again on set, their feelings changed. They've been married for a long time and have three children together.

The young couple knew each other before becoming colleagues on "Money Heist." Their relationship lasted for 2 years, after which the actors unfollowed each other on social media and tried to erase most of the evidence of their affair from there.

In the first season of "Sex Education," the couple started to date in real life. However, their relationship wasn’t that successful, and in 2020, Wood announced their break-up, adding that this relationship was not bringing any joy to either of them.

While filming the third season of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," the pair met. At that time, Alyson Hannigan impressed Alexis Denisof instantly, but he didn't want to date a girl with whom he had worked. The stars began dating in 2001, and they married in 2003. They now have two girls.

In "Sherlock Holmes," the relationship between Dr. and Mrs. Watson ended romantically. However, the relationship between the actors was not as happy as it appeared on-screen. In 2016, Abbington announced their breakup. "I had thought Martin was the love of my life. This wasn’t meant to happen to us" the actress added.

The actors first met on the set of "The Oranges" in 2011. Brody admitted that he knew Meester from her role in "Gossip Girl". The couple married in a private ceremony in 2014 and have been happily raising their two children since then.

On "Gossip Girl," the actresses played close friends, Serena and Blair. But in real life, their relationship was not as friendly as it appeared on-screen.
