They began shooting at Loki but he quickly shot them down. Thor tried to persuade Loki to join forces with him and the other heroes to stop the Chitauri one last time. The God of Mischief refused and stabbed his brother. Outraged, Thor beat Loki up until he managed to escape on a Chitauri Chariot.
