10 Marvel Characters Who Should Have Had Abilities Of A Superhero

Ned - Peter Parker's friend, Peggy Carter, or Agent Phil, these guys have the superhero characteristics (sacrifice, responsibility, fearlessness). Still, unfortunately, they do not have the special gadgets or superpowers to become real superheroes. In the franchise, we can see multiple people who become Avengers thanks to their inventions (such as Tony Stark) or being granted through the treatment (Dr. Strange).
Have you ever thought, what if these guys could have had the abilities of superheroes? The Avengers would have tackled the antagonists more easily, followed by a brighter ending to the movie. Below are 12 Marvel characters who should have been granted a superpower or an upgrade in their abilities, including Ned, Agent Phil, and Star-Lord.

1. Pepper Potts

That was awesome when Pepper got involved in the Battle in the incident of End Game, she fought as an indispensable member of the Avengers. More desirably, Pepper ought to fight like that more often.

2. Phil Coulson

He is a person of intelligence and responsibility as he can manage the Avenger team and also tries his best to support them. Given his many merits, the character deserves a little power-up, possibly a defensive one, so he can keep protecting the Earth with all his might.

3. Maria Hill

Like Agent Phil, Maria is willing to give a hand to protect the Earth without a second thought. She should join the Avengers and get some upgrades to match, such as high-tech bodily upgrades akin to those of Nebula. Or perhaps a serviceable Iron Man suit.

4. Nick Fury

He is a veteran with hands-on experience and a sense of fearlessness. He should have gotten some Nebula-style upgrades to become a mighty cyborg warrior who can fight alongside the core Avengers as a true equal.

5. Katy Chen

She has a knack for archery and sharpshooting, which helped Shang-Chi defeat the mighty Dweller-in-Darkness. She should have been trained by Hawkeye and become much stronger than that.

6. Ned

Ned is remarkably capable and brave as a self-taught sidekick, and at this rate, he just might make it as a formal S.H.I.E.L.D agent. With his experience and courage, he could have been an armored suit like Peter Parker.

7. Peggy Carter

She is smart and agile as well as intrepid. She would be more important to the movie if she was granted a superpower or at least a treatment like Captain.

8. Sif

The MCU could afford to power up Sif a little more and give her a new fighting style and weapons to match, so she can become a true warrior-queen at last.

9. Star-Lord

Star-Lord's inventory of abilities and skills is good, but not consistent. With his agility and brightness, he should have had some special gadgets.

10. Shuri

The comparison between Shuri's Intelligence and Tony's is like Tweedledum and Tweedledee. But she should have had a sense of intrepidness and a better physical state.
