People said that each of us has a doppelgänger (someone who looks like us) somewhere in the world. And Hollywood is full of celebrity doppelgängers, some of whom are oddly alike. To the point that we completely mistake actor Ian Somerhalder the son of actor Rob Lowe. Or some of us have thought that Amy Adams played Henley Reeves in "Now You See Me" because she and Isla Fisher look very similar. So it's not surprising that fans and even other celebrities.have mistaken them.
Here are 12 stars who had some funny experiences when being confused for other celebrities. Take Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood as an example. In an interview, Radcliffe said that he wrote on a fan photo of Wood "I am not Elijah Wood, [signed] Daniel Radcliffe". And Wood said that he had "on multiple occasions been applauded for my bravery on stage in Equus" because people mistook him for Daniel Radcliffe.

For a 2021 Empire magazine joint interview, Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood talked about their funny mistaken identity stories. Radcliffe said of a time when a fan handed him a photo of Wood to sign and he wrote, "I am not Elijah Wood, [signed] Daniel Radcliffe." And Wood told: "on multiple occasions been applauded for my bravery on stage in Equus." (Radcliffe had a nude scene in Peter Shaffer's play)
