"It girl" was once a very familiar term for many years. It is known that this term first appeared in the 1920s, specifically in the movie It (1927) produced by Paramount Studios. The movie revolves around the pretty young girl Betty Lou Spence (Clara Bow) who used an indescribable charm to attract the main character - her crush (Antonio Moreno). Over time, girls who possessed the same charm as Betty Lou Spence were gradually described by the term "It Girl".
“It girls” are capable of catching people's attention and are loved by everyone. And in the '80s and '90s, "It girl" is someone that every woman wants to be, and every man wants to date.
