Pregnant Sister Gets Kicked Out Of OP's House After Trying To Abandon Her Dog, Gets Protected By OP's Family

Guys, if someone asked you to give up on your pets, would you agree to do it? A survey has shown that about one-third of owners would pick their pets over their partners if they were asked to choose either one of them. We don't know if it's the right choice at that time, but we believe they've done a good thing with their four-legged friends who'll never give their back to them.
This woman is an example of how well an owner can treat their dog. As she posted her story on Reddit, the woman, user @throwdog1111, shared how she fought for her two-year-old half Husky over her intitled pregnant sister.
The story started two months ago when her sister got kicked out of her BF's house and moved in with OP. Everything was fine until the sister learned she got pregnant and started complaining about how OP's Husky would be a potential danger to her baby. OP, of course, was unhappy to hear that, and she refused to give away her dog because of her sister.
Then, when OP went on a business trip, her sister stealthily abandoned her dog at a restaurant on the other side of the city. Losing 500 bucks to get her dog back after making a ton of effort, OP was angry at her sister and decided to kick her out. OP is now called out by her family and friends for choosing her dog over her sister.

We often say that dogs are human best friends, but we are not treating them the way they deserve. It's not unheard of pets being put down or abandoned by families after they experience some traumatic events in life. In an interview with Bored Panda, Dan Bates, a licensed professional counselor and a "mental health nerd" explained the psychology behind the betrayal, so we can understand how pets feel if they are left by their owners to survive alone.
“It’s appropriate to feel angry in those unfortunate situations. But what’s more important is not giving yourself over to anger and letting it dominate your decision-making," said Bates.
Also, Bates said that arguments related to pets happen pretty often in life. However, it's important to control your feelings in those situations so you'll not make any wrong decisions about your pets.
Let's see how people reacted to OP's story.
