California Dad Loses Part Of His Skull After Overdrinking This Type Of Drinks

"I will never give up on him. Because love is selfless, and I love him more than life itself."
Recently, newspapers reported the case of a man in California who lost part of his skulls due to excessive consumption of energy drinks. His wife, who chose to be known only as Brianna, shared the experience in a post (now deleted) shared on the Facebook page for Endres Photography, located in Sacramento, California.

She clarified in what way her husband’s nearly fatal brain hemorrhage had occurred due to overusing energy drinks. Austin, her husband, started using the drinks when he had to begin “working longer hours and commuting.” Ultimately, this confirmed the great danger to his life.
“I still remember my mother in law waking me up that morning,” Brianna shared. “‘Austin had an accident’ she said. All I knew was that my husband was in the hospital. The worst part? I didn’t know why.”

Quickly, Brianna discovered that Austin had contracted a brain hemorrhage and was in a coma. The doctors attributed overusing energy drinks to the reasons for his situation, after having carried out toxicology screening and ruled out drugs.
Afterwards, Austin underwent several brain surgeries, together with unanticipated strokes, seizures and brain swelling. The doctors might have removed the frontal portion of Austin’s skull in these surgeries. Meanwhile, at the time, Brianna was already 9 months pregnant with his 1st child.

“I’m not going to lie to anyone, it was so hard. I had planned on Austin being a part of this huge moment,” Brianna wrote. “Being by my side. Holding my hand. Being there to cut the cord. Being there to welcome our son into the world. It didn’t feel right…But a beautiful miracle happened as I delivered our son. Austin woke up.”
Though he had got out of his coma, Austin still had a long recovery ahead of him. “I prepare the meals, do physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. I help him with personal hygiene. I help him walk. I help him with every aspect of his life,” Brianna says.
Despite these obstacles, the couple is still persevering. Brianna ended her Facebook post saying, “We are fighting to help him recover. To make his life better. One day we will get there. Until then, I will never give up on him. Because love is selfless, and I love him more than life itself.”
