9 Things Captain American Would Do In The Absence Of Time Travel

After Endgame, the Avengers had successfully conquered Thanos in the final battle, which got rid of the danger to the universe. But nothing is free, and this battle cost the Avengers both Iron Man and Captain, which left a void in fans' hearts. While there is no possibility of resurrecting Tony because it is the only way to defeat Thanos, Steve’s disappearance could stir up a controversy about whether he should use time travel or not.
Supportively speaking, Captain wanted to travel back to reunite with his first love - Peggy Carter, which sounds emotional. But many think it is a selfish decision based on reasonable opinions, such as the remaining responsibility and chemistry. Below are nine things Steve could have done meaningful things if he hadn’t traveled back.

Steve could have been an important pillar of support for a new massive change in the Brooklyn Support Group after the Blip. If he hadn't left.

Steve may have very well made a huge difference in hunting down the Flag Smashers. even though there were Bucky and Sam Wilson, there was absolute difficulty in the fight against this international terrorist led by Karli Morgenthau

7. Still Keeping The Shield

After Steve returns to the present, now aged, he hands over his shield to Sam Wilson, whom he perceives as the perfect choice to become the next Captain America. Sadly, Sam himself doesn’t agree. He struggles a lot with the legacy of the shield, and instead of using it, he donates it to the Smithsonian. This leads to the U.S. government claiming the shield all over again and creating a whole new Captain America in the form of John Walker.

6. Helping Bucky During His Recovery

Throughout Captain America: Civil War, he seems completely dedicated to keeping Bucky safe and helping him recover. Unfortunately, during Endgame, he changes his approach. He leaves Bucky behind, even if he had only just returned from the dead. With Steve gone, Bucky has no significant support other than, eventually, Sam, and he perceives the shield as the only family he has left.

5. Supporting Wanda In the Emotional Aspect

In the aftermath of Endgame, Wanda had Vision - her boyfriend died and even Clint Barton also left her to back to his family. Wanda ends up going to Westview and enslaving the whole town as she creates her personal version of reality and an entirely new Vision. Had Steve stayed, he could have provided Wanda with the anchor she so desperately needed.

4. Reuniting With Sharon Carter

Sharon Carter had unconditional love for Steve as she compromised her own position as an agent to give him information and provide him with equipment. Her actions brand her as an enemy of the state, and she becomes so jaded that she eventually turns to a life of crime as the Power Broker in Madripoor.

3. Keeping Hunting Down Hydra

Even though most of HYDRA has been taken down, they are not easy peasy to defeat completely as there are still several cells that remain active. Steve certainly would have wanted to finish the job he started, instead of allowing HYDRA to grow again, like it did after his fall into the ice.

2. Keeping The Avengers Together

After Endgame, both Captain and Iron Man have disappeared, which left a sense of vacancy in the team. Moreover, countless threats are still headed toward Earth. It would have been better if Steve had stayed to keep the Avengers together, as the world will eventually need them.

Steve and Tony are in disagreement over the newly created Sokovia Accords after the Civil War, with Steve arguing that it restricts their movements too much and Tony valuing the concept of responsibility. In the end, this leads to the original major rift in the Avengers, with Steve and his anti-accords supporters going on the run.
