Disney Pixar has created some of the most beloved family films, and they continue to make fans by the storms with the release of “Turning Red.”
Directed by Domee Shi, this film revolves around Meilin “Mei” Lee, a 13-year-old girl, and her overprotective mother, Ming. The mother and the daughter are very close but Ming demands too much perfection and obedience from Mei. And when Mei enters puberty, their relationship gets worse. Everything gets compounded when Mei awakens one morning to find that she has been transformed into a huge red panda as a result of the family curse.
