When you don’t have many resources, you don’t have many options. So sometimes you just gotta throw your hands up and do things the cheap way because you just have to get it done. Some are more eager to do things “the cheap way” than the others. Some, even, abuse their ability and take advantage whenever situations arise without any single hesitation for they possess thief mentality.
Below is the list of tweets from people who mistook “being cheap” for blatant stealing. We can’t exactly blame them, though. Free is always preferable. Even if one were rich, who would refuse free stuff if they were offered? Some people might try to shame these folks for their thriftiness, but they’re the true superheroes…yeah, right. Superman could never stretch $1 into five Big Macs. These people all shared their life hacks for squeezing the most out of the absolute least and getting away with things when life doesn’t give you much to work with. Please, don’t take these as examples.
#1 This is stealing, no matter how you frame it or try to excuse it.
#3 Weird, but okay?
#5 That’s using your noggin, and technically fraud.
#7 Again, not finessing but stealing or theft by deception.
#10 I wonder if that’s the reason why he “used” to work there…
#13 Seeing how those places often have porta-potties, that’s a shitty hiding place.
#18 There were a lot of walmart scams back in the day, a friend of mine got arrested for buying an item and returning one off the shelf trick.
#22 I guess that’s on them if they didn’t specify you couldn’t take it to go!
