Mystery Star Wars Project Stars Pre-Production: A New TV Series Coming?

Like a bolt from the blue, some rumors have reported that pre-production of a new project related to Star Wars has started in California. There is very little information and not much is known at this moment though, except that it should be linked to the High Republic.
In fact, it seems that film sets are currently being built in Culver City, California in preparation for the main shoot, which is scheduled for June. Sources close to the production explain that the project will be a TV series, set precisely during the High Republic era with the working title "Grammar Rodeo".

Again, according to rumors, the cast of this new show will be composed of teenagers and kids. Actually, one of the insiders even described it as a "Stranger Things in Space".
The first information came last month when only the processing name was revealed, nothing more. It seems clear, however, that Lucasfilm is focusing in a really strong way on the High Republic, the new multimedia project started in 2020.
This High Republic initiative is divided into three phases: the first, "Light of the Jedi", started in 2020 and ended in 2022; the second is "Quest of the Jedi" and is currently underway; the third and final, "Trials of the Jedi", hasn't had a release date yet.
Scheduled on the High Republic are also the TV series coming to Disney+ Star Wars: The Acolyte and the action-adventure video game developed by Quantic Dream Star Wars: Eclipse, not to mention comics and novels, which are perhaps the most substantial part of this operation.

If the rumors regarding what is now known as the Grammar Rodeo turn out to be true, it will be clear how LucasFilm is trying to make the initiative as attractive as possible for all audiences.
At the moment, the upcoming releases are closely linked to the Original Trilogy or, in a broader sense, to the Skywalker Saga. Just think of Obi-Wan Kenobi, a series in which Ewan McGregor will return as the Jedi master. Then comes the turn of Andor, Ahsoka and Lando, all characters already known and much loved by the public. Finally, there are also rumors regarding a potential sequel of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but there has been no confirmation yet.
