Jack Black Reprises His Role As Po In Netflix's Animated Series "Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight"

On Wednesday, Netflix announced that it will expand the Kung Fu Panda universe with the animated series "Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight" from DreamWorks Animation. And, nearly six years after the release of "Kung Fu Panda 3", Jack Black reprises his role as Po for this sequence.

This time, Po will leave his village to embark on a globe-trotting adventure for redemption and justice when a mysterious pair of weasels set their eyes on a collection of four powerful weapons. These two mismatched warriors embark on an epic quest to gather magical weapons and save the world from doom, and they may even learn a thing or two along the way.

Actor Black played Po for the first time in the 2008 film "Kung Fu Panda". In 2011, he repeated this role in "Kung Fu Panda 2," and in 2016 "Kung Fu Panda 3." For the time being, it's nice to see Black reprise the part that made him famous, and maybe the animation can match the original.

It's so exciting if more actors will join the movie as well because the original flicks included Dustin Hoffman, Seth Rogen, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, and others.
