"Halo" Star Pablo Schreiber Is Getting Closer To The Role Of MCU's Wolverine

Pablo Schreiber already expressed his interest in playing Wolverine in 2017, after Hugh Jackman hung up his claws with Logan. And now, in a recent interview, the actor has once again admitted his love for the role, confirming that he has been in talks with Marvel Studios to play this Canadian mutant in the reboot of the X-Men franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“You know I've seen [fancast] things pop up a lot. I've had a bunch of discussions with Marvel at different points in my career," the Canadian-American actor shared. "We've never been able to find the right thing at the right time, but I'd certainly be open to that. But, yeah, it's just staying open to the right path and I don't know exactly what that is, but I'll know it when I see it."

When asked if he had thought of playing James Howlett, Schreiber stated that it would be "a dream casting".
"That'd be fantastic, that would certainly be a dream casting," he said. "He's actually my favorite hero, from a child he was always my favorite comic book, So I've had a long flirtation with that guy, so you know, obviously, that'd be a dream."
