Ryan Reynolds Reacts To Viral Green Lantern Image From "Zack Snyder's Justice League"

Ryan Reynolds has just had a really nice response to the image of Wayne T. Carr's John Stewart in Zack Snyder's Justice League, which has gone viral on Twitter.

Zack Snyder's Justice League already features a number of famous DC superheroes, but not many people know that the director's original plan also included John Stewart with Carr playing the iconic Emerald Knight. This would have been the character's live-action debut, as John was only featured in animated projects before.
Despite shooting a few scenes with him, Warner Bros. eventually banned Snyder from using Stewart as they had other plans for the character. The studio's plans were likely related to Green Lantern Corps, a project announced several years ago but still hasn't been developed yet.
However, in 2021, Snyder was able to show via his phone a shot of Carr in his Green Lantern costume, before the actor was able to re-share the same image in HD this year.
While fans around the world shared their excitement at seeing Carr as John Stewart, a former Green Lantern actor also showed support for him. While Ryan Reynolds is best known by comic book fans as Wade Wilson aka Deadpool, he played Hal Jordan in the Green Lantern movie, which wasn't very well received in 2011.
It seems like Reynolds has chosen to back Wayne T. Carr's Green Lantern by liking his post on Twitter, and the Justice League actor also shared his appreciation for the former Emerald Knight in his Instagram story.

Well, it will be great to see Carr as John Stewart in future DC projects, and if these two guys meet, the result will be even more incredible!
