Boss Ridicules Employee After They Work 10 Hours On Their Day Off, Employee Quits

Every extra effort employees put into work needs to be appreciated. They stay late and work overtime not because they're unproductive but because they're responsible and devoted to the job. And in return, what the employees want is simply a better paycheck and appreciation from their bosses. But, It's not always like that. And even worse, instead of extra payment, some employees get ridiculed for their devotion.
Reddit user  u/issathrowaway2 shared their story about how their boss treated them after they worked 10 hours on their day off. The Original Poster (OP) works for a small, family-owned business that wraps cars. One of their boss' "good customers" demanded same-day service on Saturday - the OP's day off. But then, things got out of control when the supposed 2-hour job turned into a 10-hour, and the OP had to cancel their freelance appointment. And things got even more frustrating when the next day, the boss confronted the OP and ridiculed them that they made him embarrassed. For what, you ask? Because the customer got there sooner and no one was there to greet him. And that was the breaking point.
