"Hawkeye" VFX Supervisor Confirms Hulk's Secret Cameo In The First Episode

Last December, all episodes of Hawkeye, the acclaimed series produced by Marvel Studios in which Jeremy Renner returns as Clint Barton, were released on Disney+. The show features the Avenger in the role of the mentor to a character named Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a 22-year-old archer with a dream of becoming a superhero who Clint is forced to collaborate with.

In an interview with VFX magazine Befores & Afters, Vincent Papaix, Hawkeye's visual effects supervisor, spoke about the making of the Marvel Studios series, explaining that his team "managed to actually hide one Avenger that nobody has found yet" in the first episode.
For this reason, The Direct has carefully analyzed the episode in search of the secret cameo, which is surely one of the members of the MCU's famous Avengers.

During the opening scene of The Avengers (2012), at the time of the Battle of New York, in fact, it is possible to notice a very small green figure which, apparently, represents the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in the act of jumping from one building to another before being hit by a Chitauri vehicle in mid-air.
The Direct later contacted Papaix to certify the validity of the discovery, and the VFX supervisor also confirmed the cameo of the Jade Giant. "It is indeed Hulk jumping from building to building and getting a blast from a Chitauri weapon," he said.
