How Strong Is Starfox? Can He Beat Thanos In A Duel?

Starfox (Harry Styles), Thanos' brother, has sparked debate about his level of power in the MCU after his appearance in Marvel's Eternals. Because Thanos (Josh Brolin) is one of the most formidable villains the MCU's heroes have ever faced, it's only natural that a figure tied to him would be equally as powerful. His brief cameo in Eternals, on the other hand, didn't reveal anything about his abilities or what he's capable of in combat.
The film didn't reveal much of Harry Styles' MCU character, but it did hint that he will play a key role in upcoming Eternals films. Starfox aka Eros made his spectacular arrival in the mid-credits sequence, accompanied by his sidekick, Pip the Troll, who described the former as a prince of Titan and a cosmic hero with a lengthy list of achievements. If all Pip mentioned about Thanos' sibling and his escapades across the world is accurate, Starfox will undoubtedly be a strong ally for the Eternals in the future, and perhaps even a future leader of the Avengers in Phase 5.
It's worth considering how powerful Starfox is in the MCU, especially in comparison to his sibling. What the hero may bring to the table is revealed by how he was used in Marvel Comics. His hallmark skill in the comics was his capacity to telepathically influence a person's pleasure center. Nevertheless, this was only a small part of his arsenal. Starfox could fly and had superhuman strength that rivaled that of Spider-Man, Beast, and Wolverine, although he was a few degrees behind Marvel's most powerful characters. Hulk, Thor, and Thanos were not in the same league as Starfox. So, while possessing a lot of raw strength, he was never able to defeat his brother on his own.
If Starfox's abilities are anything like those of his comic version, he would have fared much better against Thanos than the heroes in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Even if he had been there in Endgame's last fight, he would have lost in a one-on-one match. Starfox has shown in the comics that he is capable of damaging Thanos and is quick enough to avoid some of his punches, but he often struggles to hold his own against Thanos' physical power in protracted battles.
The good thing for Starfox in the MCU is that thanks to the developments of Endgame, he won't have to face off against his brother in any future films. It's likely that if he had what it took to defeat Thanos, the villain's murderous rampage wouldn't have lasted as long. Battles between the 2 may have already taken place. If this is the case, we may discover more about Starfox's existence before Eternals and his history with Thanos when he next appears in the MCU.
