As rumored in recent weeks, the new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was promptly shown on the occasion of Super Bowl 2022. The trailer reached the public shortly before the start of the match, followed by another interesting commercial of the film that shows some unreleased scenes we don't see in the extended trailer.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was directed by Sam Raimi with the screenplay written by Michael Waldron, fresh from the success of the Loki series. According to initial plans, the movie would be directed by Scott Derrickson, former director of the first episode. However, Derrickson later declined the assignment due to creative differences, but remained involved as an executive producer. Renowned composer Danny Elfman, Sam Raimi's longtime collaborator, was commissioned to create the soundtrack.
